Power Studio version 1.23.2

Power Studio version 1.23.2 is now available. This maintenance update focuses on download, API and platform reliability, mix editing and voice tracking and playout and live-assist operation, the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps production machines predictable. It is a sensible update for stations that want current components, fewer edge cases and a stable day-to-day workflow.

Playout
Fixed issue with assigning the correct player number to groups of linked items, containing macros.

Update playlist StartTimes when the position of a player is manually set.

Download Item plugin
The plugin now also falls back to the last cached downloaded item, when a file is in the incorrect format. (This can occur e.g. when a web server returns an error page with HTTP status 200.)

Improved robustness of HTTP(S), FTP, SFTP and RSS downloads and external process execution by adding specific timeouts.

Fixed issue that could occur in configuring (S)FTP download paths.

An in progress download, no longer blocks other download. Multiple downloads can now run simultaneously.

Rest API plugin
Player command Cue is now marked obsolete. Use StopAndCue instead.

Improvements & Bug Fixes

• Fixed a small issue with the Linking-logic in the playlist.
• Updated external components for increased performance and stability.
• Completely rebuild the installer for better maintainability and because the old tooling was not supported anymore.
• Fixed edge case in Undo function in the Mix Editor.
• Contents of Tracks Browser was not always updated when a track was updated. A refresh is now no longer needed.
• Added validation on the Stop Position field in the Track Editor.
• In some cases a machine could occur more than one time in the Macro Execution privileges list in Options & Setting > Scheduler.
• Large number of internal fixes and improvements.
